Private garage interior – a place for cars, hobbies and friends
A garage no longer has to be just a parking space. In this private garage in Sofia we turned 46 m² into a room for two sports cars, bikes, tyres and tools that becomes a place to meet friends in the evening. The interior design combines an industrial character, bold accents and carefully planned lighting: everything has its place and everything is on display.
01Order you can see
The main idea was not to hide things in cupboards but to make them part of the interior. The walls work like a showcase:
- Back-lit perforated panelsMetal panels with LED lighting hold the wheels, bikes, helmets, balls and bags – easy to reach and displayed like an exhibition.
- Wheel and tyre wallSpare sets are stored vertically next to the parking bays, exactly where they are needed.
- Car-care shelvingSlim metal shelves with built-in lighting display the car-care products.
02Workshop and bar in one
At the back of the garage there is a work zone where engineering and enjoyment go together:
- Timber worktopA solid worktop with cabinets below and a tool pegboard above – every spanner has its place.
- Drinks fridgeA built-in wine and drinks cooler with lit shelves turns the workshop into a bar for guests.
03Light and colour with character
The atmosphere comes from bold choices rarely seen in a garage:
- Light sculptureFree-form LED lines on the deep red ceiling add movement and a soft, diffused light.
- Neon artPop-art portraits and a neon horse on textured plaster bring personal style and a gallery feel.
- Marked floorGraphite modular flooring with yellow lines outlines the parking bays and walkways, like a professional pit garage.
